The Finnish War Information Centre sheds light on the phases of the Finnish War, the Ruona Battle in particular, and the events and circumstances of that period through exhibitions, multimedia presentations and historical artefacts. On request, a guided tour at the Information Centre, as well as visits at the authentic battlefield, can be arranged.
Interested in cultural environment? At the Information Centre, you can arrange for a tour of the Ruona village with a focus on the village landscape and the built heritage dating back for several centuries. The oldest farmhouses, still inhabited, were built in the 17th century.
The Ruona Rinki village community arranges lectures and discussions at the Information Centre.

In summer time, in the premises of the Information Centre, the Café Kamenski serves coffee, tea, soft drinks, pastries and small snacks. In addition, catering service is available for groups and private occasions. Small cultural exhibitions can be arranged in the Café.
There is a lakeside sauna nearby the Information Centre. One can book a sauna or include a sauna session in a guided tour or a meeting package.
In 2009, the Finnish War Information Centre and the Café Kamenski are open in June 18 – August 9. At other time, on request.
